Muhamed Besic had admitted that Everton’s below-par players will have to win over the club’s fans again.
A disappointing run of results has left the Blues languishing in 12th place in the Premier League table with last weekend’s trip to Manchester United becoming a third successive defeat in the campaign.
Currently surrounded by the likes of West Brom and Bournemouth, Besic believes that Roberto Martinez’s side must they can to get the Goodison Park faithful back on board.
He said: “Arsenal and United, I don’t remember us playing two games as bad.
“When we are ourselves we can beat them easy because we are strong team but we have not shown it in the last two games.
“The supporters are always right and when they are not right they are right because they are our supporters and we have to win them back and win games.
“They are always behind us and I am not worried about that.”
Besic’s season has been plagued by injuries, but Bosnian admits he was disappointed with his performance against Arsenal upon returning to Everton’s starting line-up.
And after being dropped from the side for the Old Trafford defeat, the combative midfielder says he is ready to win his place back.
“I am confident because I know my qualities but I will not speak about that now,” he added.
“I am fit and when the gaffer needs me I am there.
“For five or six days I was really bad. I was at home for three days that relaxed me a bit.”
“It is good that I played two games [on international duty for Bosnia] and play some minutes to get my confidence back.
“So the Arsenal game is just one game. It will not happen again.”
