The busiest station in Liverpool has scored a 97% customer satisfaction rating according to the National Rail Passenger Survey.
Liverpool Central Station has also achieved the highest score for satisfaction among all major stations in the UK, help beating several flagship stations including London St Pancras and Bath Spa.
The 97% scores is the best Merseyreal has ever achieved for Liverpool Central.
The result was published by Transport Focus as part of its most recent bi?annual National Rail Passenger Survey in autumn 2015.
It was carried out before the recent disruption which beset the network, which last month saw the operator handing out free croissants to commuters at stations across Liverpool.
With 15m passengers per year, Liverpool Central has by far the highest footfall on the Merseyrail network and is one of the busiest stations outside London.
