Award winning Thai restaurant brand Busaba has announced it will open its second regional restaurant in Liverpool on March 14 2016.
Situated in the heart of it all at Liverpool ONE, the Thai casual dining brand will join an array of fresh new eating haunts to serve classic, quality Thai food and hospitality, completing the transformation of the building at 111 to 116 Hanover Street.
The brand new 5,418 sq. ft. venue houses an attractive 144-cover restaurant and bar, and is sure to excite Scouse taste buds offering the ultimate Bangkok dining experience.
Designed by Russell Sage Studio, the space in Hannover Street, known as the home to an eclectic mix of bars and restaurants, has undergone a major development and refurbishment. The restaurant’s design draws inspiration from traditional Thai architecture, furniture, textiles, joinery and modern day Bangkok and the material palette of gold, copper and blue offers a distinctly Thai flavour.
It is understood that an intricately designed “staircase to heaven” will feature as a focal point for the restaurant.
Busaba’s arrival, only the brand’s second restaurant outside of London, will provide the people of Liverpool with a unique and cultural offering, from the dishes to the décor. Making it the perfect venue for any occasion, be it intimate dining or larger eating parties.
The exciting menu boasts a fine balance of quality value and traditional dishes, inspired by modern Bangkok, including Busaba’s best selling Thai Calamari, its famous Pad Thai and iconic Thai curries, all made with Busaba’s secret recipe curry pastes; developed in association with Michelin Star Chef David Thompson. Over in the bar, a range of flavousome Thai Teas’, Thai inspired juices, signature cocktails, local & far-away beers and more, will all be on offer.
Hanover Street is fast gaining a reputation as one of the most up-and-coming dining destinations in the North West, facing the thriving Rope Walks area of Liverpool city centre, with Busaba becoming a welcome addition to the mix.
Jason Myers, Busaba CEO added: “We’re extremely excited to be bringing the Busaba restaurant experience to Liverpool; this will be our second restaurant in the North West for 2016. We have heard much about the success of Liverpool ONE, which put it at the top of our list as we sought the location for our next restaurant, so look forward to welcoming in the people of Liverpool to sample the true taste of modern Bangkok.”
