Liverpool’s Carpathia restaurant launches Autumn Winter menu

Carpathia restaurant and champagne bar has launched its new Autumn/Winter menu and its stunning starters, there main courses and dessert dishes are packed full of autumnal flavours which are perfect for this time of year.

As the weather gets increasingly colder, you can warm up with the likes of the restaurant’s popular starter, the Bowland lamb hot pot with braised red cabbage and buttered new potatoes (£8.50) or brand new starters; Braised
pork cheeks served with an orange infused carrot puree, charred shallots and pickled cauliflower (£7.50) and the moreish confit chicken croquettes with chilli chorizo jam and dresses baby leaves (£8).

For the main event, there are some delicious dishes which will make it incredibly difficult for you to decide what to tuck in to at the restaurant located inside 30 James Street Hotel.

Why not give the beautiful Cajun loin of monkfish, courgette and carrot spaghetti, crispy leeks and a Cajun and lime cream (£19.50) a go, the oven baked loin of venison, juniper and sage jus, pickled kohlrabi, pomme puree
and blackberries (£22.50) or even the wild mushroom and goats cheese wellington with tarragon and mustard cream sauce and buttered baby vegetables (£13.50), which are all stunningly presented, and taste even better.

To finish off, always make sure there is room for dessert when dining at Carpathia as they’re simply too good to turn down.

Try the truly indulgent chocolate brownie with pistachio ice cream, French meringue pieces and salted caramel sauce (£6.50).

Or for those who love a fruity option, the lemon curd tart with strawberry crisps, ice cream and macerated berries (£6.50) or the mango and ginger cheesecake with orange sorbet and coriander cress (£6.50) are sure to be
winning options.

But whatever you try from the new Autumn/Winter menu is guaranteed to be packed with perfect flavours whilst being presently beautifully too.
