Forbidden Planet are set to relaunch its Liverpool store following a makeover.
The pop culture retailer is commemorating its Bold Street branch receiving listed building status with an all-day event on Saturday, August 9.
Featuring a whole day of activities, exclusive giveaways, one-of-a-kind prizes – plus exclusive signings with two of the city’s homegrown creators.
Horror author Ramsey Campbell and Chris Shepherd, film director and award-winning creator of Anfield Road, will both be appearing in-store.
Ramsey is set to take part in a signing session from 2pm-3pm while copies of Chris’s coming-of-age story set in 1980s Liverpool will be available to purchase on the day when he takes part between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.
The first 100 customers through the door on the 9.30am opening will receive exclusive premium grab bags packed with collectible merchandise and goodies.
All customers can take advantage of an array of fantastic offers including 3-for-2 Manga and 10% discount for students and Blue Light Card holders.
The chance to win an amazing pop culture bundle worth over £300 is also available in a prize draw that can be entered in-store only.
