A ‘proper pub experience’ will launch in Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter this summer.
Temple Tavern is set to open its doors in the old Reiss store, blending authentic Irish character with a fresh local energy and a celebration of community, music, and great craic.
Guests can expect live music every day, with traditional Irish music sessions (“Trad Sessions”) featured throughout the week.
The drinks menu boasts a curated selection of over 30 Irish whiskeys, plus rotating special offers to keep the good times flowing without breaking the bank.
Whether you’re after a relaxed pint, lively music, or a taste of Ireland in the heart of Liverpool, Temple Tavern delivers the full experience.
This will be the latest venue to open from local independent Pub Invest Group, who operate over 40 sites across the city centre of Liverpool from McCooleys and Erics to Moloko and the Zanzibar.
A total of 30 new part-time and full time jobs will be created at the new site, which will be split over two floors.
Operations manager Shannon Gaynor said: “We’re really excited to bring this new Irish venue to Mathew Street.
“It’s going to be an intimate yet lively pub with lots packed into it, from the detail that’s gone into the interiors to the traditional Irish music.
“We’re going to roll back pricing to what you expect from a local pub so we’re going to be pretty unique compared to most city centre venues as well.
“We can’t wait for the customers to give us a try and see what we have to offer!”
