The Bongo’s Bingo 10th birthday celebrations are getting closer. It’s time to get ready for the biggest, wildest and most outrageous shows ever with Jonny Bongo holding court at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th March.
Reaching a decade of Bongo’s Bingo is the culmination of quite possibly one of the craziest stories of modern times, ten years of copious confetti, four-way dance-offs and complete bingo immersion across the world. Yet this story’s DNA is woven into Liverpool, where Jonny Bongo first got to grips with performing and fell in love with this wonderful city – the founding home of Bongo’s Bingo.
So to help start the celebrations early, Jonny’s organising four wild pre-parties in secret locations in some of his favourite places in the city centre, including a rather familiar quiz, party bingo, a Karaoke party and of course some proper Bongo’s Bingo in a historic Liverpool venue. Each date has very limited capacity; three pop-ups are £5 per ticket and one is free and first come, first let through the door. The location will be announced on the day of each pre-party. These are four unique chances to share nostalgic magic and mayhem with Jonny as the countdown continues to March.
Jonny Bongo says: “I’ve really wanted to do something which honours the heritage of Bongo’s Bingo and its history and my own time in Liverpool. So ahead of the 10th birthday in March we’ve got four incredible pre-parties in secret locations, featuring links to what I’ve done, the places I love and iconic parts of Liverpool’s and Bongo’s Bingo’s history. These pre-parties are going to get everyone hyped for the birthday and for me it’s going to be extra nostalgic with what we have got planned. Tickets are very limited and will fly out. I’m just asking everyone to trust us with these shows, when you see exactly what and where they are people are going to lose their heads. It’s going to be class.”
The double whammy of 10th birthday shows in March are going to be unlike anything Bongo’s Bingo have created before. What’s currently known is the weekend will be jam-packed with spectacular Bongo’s Bingo surprises, nostalgia and mayhem, with everything amped up to the absolute max including the production, prizes and music to create the ultimate immersive bingo experience.
