Montirex launch ‘Break The Wall’ campaign

Montirex have launched a nationwide mental health campaign.

The fast-growing sportswear brand which started in Liverpool is partnering with charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) for the initiative.

Pop-up goalposts will be installed in major cities across the UK and Ireland, including in their native city centre, to tackle the stigma around mental health.

The goalposts will be temporarily painted onto walls and accompanied by a QR code that takes users to Montirex’s Break The Wall website, where they can find advice and information and can become a CALM supporter.

The Liverpool installation is at 3 Kings Dock St, Liverpool L1 8JU.

As well as Liverpool, Montirex will be rolling out the campaign in London, Birmingham and Dublin in the coming days.

Montirex co-founder Danny Yuen said: “Mental health is a huge challenge for young people and CALM does great work in getting support to people who need it.

“If our campaign gets more young men talking to each other and breaking down the walls that exist around mental health, we’ll be proud to have played a small part in tackling those issues.”

The Montirex Break the Wall goalposts will appear in the Liverpool location on June 26 and will stay in place for one month.
