Will Ferrell has paid an unexpected visit to a popular Liverpool restaurant.
Ferrell took in a weekend of UK football starting with Wrexham AFC, owned by fellow Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, on Saturday.
But the Anchorman star enjoyed a lunchtime stop-off at the city’s East Asian inspired restaurant Mamasan before heading to the Racecourse Ground.
Ferrell, 55, previously visited Liverpool in 2017, when he attended a Premier League match at Anfield involving Swansea City and Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Chelsea supporter joked that he would not be welcomed back by the Reds after seeing the Welsh club end their year-long unbeaten home record.
“Last season I was at a Manchester United game, a Liverpool match and a Chelsea match. All very exciting,” Ferrell told the BBC at the time.
“I think I will never be invited back to Anfield because it was the historic day Liverpool lost to Swansea at home for the first time!”
