Celebrity guests are a huge part of the appeal, and it’s been announced that Kit Harington will attend.
Jon Snow is One of TV’s Most Recognisable Characters in Game of Thrones
During his time filming Game of Thrones, Harington was part of some of the most memorable moments in the series. Even though Game of Thrones ended in 2019, it’s still got a firm foothold in the world of entertainment.
The House of the Dragon prequel brought viewers back to Westeros with a whole new generation of Targaryens. The long-running show Cast of Thrones offers fans the chance to revisit the series and remains a popular podcast even to this day.
Game of Thrones is visible in other entertainment markets, including iGaming. One of the UK slots that can be played online would be the Game of Thrones title, which uses familiar imagery from the show. This includes the emblems from the house of Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen, alongside the Iron Throne, another throwback to the show.
Examples like this show how the franchise has become way bigger than the television show, and over the years, book sales have continued to break records. George R.R. Martin is still writing his sixth novel, and a seventh book, A Dream of Spring, has been announced, without a release date.
It will follow the upcoming sixth book, The Winds of Winter. The plot is unknown, but it’s expected to follow the aftermath of the conflicts that continue to sweep across Westeros, as well as bringing the story to conclusion.
For fans, meeting Kit Harington in Liverpool is the chance to step into the world of Game of Thrones.

Comic Con is a Huge Draw for Liverpool
Celebrity guests are a major attraction at Comic Con, but meeting them, collecting signed items, and having professional photographs taken are also an important part of the experience. The event will be filled with independent traders from across the UK, who come bearing collectables and merchandise.
Comic Con is set to take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October at the Experience Campus, which is right on the Liverpool waterfront. The convention attracts fans from beyond the UK, bringing together film, television, horror and pop culture.
Also making an appearance from Game of Thrones are Tom Wlaschiha, Emilia Clarke, Alfie Allen, Gemma Whelan, Jerome Flynn, and Isaac Hempstead-Wright. Even though Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington are only on the Saturday, most other GoT stars are making an appearance across both days. Those who want an autograph can pick one up on the Comic Con website, or pay at the door. Photos of the cast can also be bought online, picked up at the event, or posted out.
