Former EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has become the latest addition to the cast of Grease: The Musical for its run in Liverpool next year.
Trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, the 27-year-old secured her first professional role as the innocent schoolgirl Ruby Allen in the BBC soap.
She has since enjoyed a host of varied roles, from starring in The Bill to parts in the internationally successful American Pie franchise and the British Shakespeare Company’s productions of both A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing.
Lytton will play Rizzo in the hit 1970s musical when it appears at the Liverpool Empire between April 3 and 8 and joins reality TV star Darren Day, who plays Teen Angel, and The Wanted singer Tom Parker as Danny Zuco.
