Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton is set to take to the Liverpool stage as Thoroughly Modern Millie comes to the Empire theatre.
The award-winning musical will begin its UK tour in 2017, see with a five-date run at the Empire between February 20 and 25 next year.
Taking the title role of Millie Dillmount will be World Ballroom Showdance Champion Joanne, who is set to kick-start the latest series of Strictly this weekend.
She plays the lead role as a Kansas girl determined to make it big in New York City and has previous credits with Face the Music, view Burn the Floor and Marilyn Monroe in Norma Jeane Musical.
A winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie is based on the 1967 Academy Award-winning film of the same name.
Tickets for Thoroughly Modern Millie are on sale now at the Empire box office.
