Liam Gallagher brings UK tour to Liverpool

Liam Gallagher is bringing his latest UK tour to Liverpool later this year.

The former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman will perform at the city’s M&S Bank Arena on Thursday, November 21 on his second nationwide arena tour.

His eagerly anticipated second solo offering ‘Why Me? Why Not’ is set to be released on September 20 and expected to be one of the albums of the year.

Liam will be headlining Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage this Saturday night and offered a previous of his set by sharing brand new track ‘The River’.

The track was co-written by Liam alongside the track’s producer Andrew Wyatt, who was a key collaborator on the all-conquering solo album ‘As You Were’.

Speaking about the new album, he said: “I want the second album to be a step-up because the hardest thing to do is to make something the same, only better.

“So that’s what we’ve done. It’s a better record than ‘As You Were’. Which is saying something, as that was epic, wasn’t it?”

Tickets for the Liverpool show go on sale from 9am on Friday, July 12 and are priced between £33.85 and £62.15.
