Take That will perform at Anfield Stadium as part of their Greatest Hits tour.
The concert on June 6, 2019 marks the first concert to be held at Liverpool FC’s home since permission was granted to host major non-football events.
Sir Paul McCartney played Anfield’s last concert in a homecoming gig which marked the city’s year as European Capital of Culture in summer 2008.
Take That’s 30th anniversary tour will kick off in Sheffield on April 12 next year, with 1980s star Rick Astley also confirmed as the band’s special guest.
The three-piece are also releasing their ‘Odyssey’ album in November which features classic tracks, re-recorded versions of their chart-topping singles, special guests and three new songs.
“It’s a real honour for us to be able to play Anfield, such an historic ground and venue,” said the band.
“The Liverpool audiences have always been incredible.”
