Liverpool walls to be taken over for Street Art festival

A Street Art festival will take over the walls of Liverpool from 16th-22nd April, 2018.

Over 30 artists are set to collaborate to bring the largest mural festival so far to the city. Contrast Mural Festival’s lead sponsor, Absolut, has secured Beta Rok 75 who will engage a team of 30 artists to bring colour to the walls of sites across the city.

Those wanting to view art will be able to find murals in the City Centre, Baltic Triangle, Fabric District and North Docks. More locations are expected to be revealed in advance on the festival and a map will be available online.

This will be an ongoing celebration of the power of creativity with the Liverpool community, as part of Absolut’s continuing platform ‘Create A Better Tomorrow, Tonight’.

Street Art lovers, over the age of 21, will be invited to attend Graffiti workshops based at Zap Graffiti for just £1. Bookings for the workshops can be found here.

Information and plans for the festival can be found on the Contrast Mural Festival website.
