On June 17, New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion will play host to Interactive Theatre International’s ‘The Wedding Reception: A Dining Experience’.
The world renown theatre group have teamed up with Carringtons Catering for the event to put on a spectacular feast for the guests.
From 7:30pm on, guests will be entertained to two hours of interactive and improvised comedy.
The show was brought to life by the same masterminds behind the global phenomenon ‘Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience’.
People will be treated to a two-course meal inspired by the show, which will also feature cake served by Master Chef of Great Britain’s Darren Wynn.
Speaking about The Wedding Reception: A Dining Experience, Wynn said: “Having previously worked with Interactive Theatre International to showcase the Floral Pavilion’s presentation of ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’, we are excited to once again team up with these comedy geniuses to host a night of sheer laughter.
“While wedding catering is our forte, this unmissable event certainly offers dining with a difference. The show is an original piece of comedy theatre that transports the audience to the sort of party that most people have been to and will undoubtedly leave their sides aching from laugh out loud gags surrounding authentic wedding day hiccups.”
Currently touring around the UK, the show has already received five star ratings from performances on London’s West End, Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe.
