Wonderland is set to take over the Liverpool Empire next week.
Described by the New York Times as “inspirational”, the musical adaptation of Alice in Wonderland will run at the city’s premier theatre venue from June 12 to 17.
The cast is filled with world-renown actors headed by Kerry Ellis, best known for her performances on Broadway and the West End as Elphaba in Wicked.
Wendi Peters, best known for her role as the popular character on Coronation Street, Cilla Battersby-Brown, will be playing the role of the Queen of Hearts.
Wonderland has sold out in Tampa, Texas and Tokyo, brought to life by multi Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated, Frank Wildhorn.
Filled with catchy songs and the heartwarming tale of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland, this is a show for all the family to enjoy as it comes to Liverpool during it’s extensive UK tour.
