Police have seized six off-road bikes following a raid in Fairfield.
Officers entered a house in Onslow Road in the area at 9am on Sunday and recovered five scrambler bikes and a quad bike at the property.
All the bikes are suspected to have been stolen and have been removed for further examination. A small number of cannabis plants were also recovered.
Two men, sick aged 44 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and released pending a disposal decision.
The 27-year-old was also arrested on production of cannabis and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
Assistant Chief Constable Ian Critchley said: “The misuse of off road and scrambler bikes can blight communities and present a real danger to members of the public.
“Merseyside Police is determined to take bikes being ridden anti-socially off our streets.
“I would appeal to people across Merseyside to keep calling us if they know where nuisance bikes are being stored or they have information about the people who are using them.”
Anyone with any information on where other stolen bikes are stored is urged to get in in contact on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
