Liverpool residents are being urged to donate their old and unwanted clothing to help the city’s homeless stay warm over the Christmas period.
Efforts to help those living rough are being spearheaded by local firm Amanda Wright Recruitment for a second consecutive year next month.
The Speke-based recruiters will close its office for a half-day on December 9 in order to distribute warm items to homeless people in the area.
Anyone with old blankets, coats and other winter-related items such as hats, gloves and sleeping bags are being asked to donate them to the initiative.
Donations can be dropped into the company’s office at Unit 8, Mersey House on Speke Road between working hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
