Police have launched a CCTV appeal in efforts to trace witnesses to a serious assault outside a bar in the Albert Dock.
A man suffered permanent damage to his eye following the large-scale fight which took place outside Circo in the early hours of December 20 last year.
Detectives investigating the incident have released CCTV images of several people they wish to trace to help with their enquiries.
Officers believe the people featured may have witnessed fight, which escalated from a verbal altercation between two men. It is believed that the man who suffered an eye injury was attacked from behind while he was intervening in the assault of his friend.
Detectives from Liverpool CID have carried out extensive CCTV enquiries from the area and are keen to identify and speak to all of the people in the CCTV as they may have information that could help progress the police investigation.
