A female pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Crosby.
The incident took place on College Road in the area at around 1.20pm on Friday following reports of a collision between a woman and a Toyota Auris.
A 33-year-old was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police sealed off several roads around the area as CCTV and witness enquiries were being made while the driver of the car is helping officers with their enquiries.
