A teenage boy has been arrested following a scooter raid in Netherton.
Officers made the arrest after witnessing the vehicle being ridden by two males in the Marian Square area at around 7.45pm on Saturday night.
Further patrols were dispatched after the scooter mounted the pavement and was driven at speed on pavements before the offenders escaped on foot.
A 17-year-old was arrested a short time later on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, cure dangerous driving and failing to stop.
