Liverpool’s BHS store is expected to close its doors no later than August 20.
A spokesman for the store’s administrators Duff and Phelps told the ECHO that at this point, no date had been set for the closure of the Lord Street store.
Duff & Phelps have not found a buyer for the business and is now looking to sell of each of the stores.
The news comes on the day that a report into BHS’s ownership under retail billionaire Sir Philip Green was released.
The tycoon was slammed in the report and branded the “unacceptable face of capitalism” as a parliamentary inquiry found that he had taken large sums of money from the collapsed group, which left the pension fund in deficit.
