Sefton Park Hotel unveil new bistro and bar

Sefton Park Hotel has announced the impending launch of its newly refurbished dining destination.

Marking the next phase of a £250,000 investment by The Sefton Collection in the historic Victorian property, Sefton Park Bistro and Bar will open its doors on May 15.

Located opposite one of Liverpool’s most iconic green spaces, Sefton Park Hotel offers an inviting setting for guests and visitors alike, whether enjoying the park’s scenic surroundings, catching up with friends and family, or planning a relaxed date night.

The new bistro and bar introduces a contemporary gastro-style menu, combining classic British favourites with modern bistro dishes. Its opening is part of a programme of extensive phased upgrades across the hotel.

A full redesign of all 16 guest bedrooms and enhancements to its leisure and event facilities feature alongside new elegant draped marquee providing space for up to 200 guests.

Set within a beautifully restored heritage villa, Sefton Park Bistro and Bar offers a warm, informal atmosphere designed to appeal to both hotel guests and the local community. The space blends historic charm with modern comfort, creating a relaxed lounge-style environment ideal for everything from post-park refreshments to social gatherings.

Open to both residents and non-residents, the bistro will operate Wednesday to Sunday, with opening hours from 12:00pm–9:00pm on Wednesday-Saturday, and 12:00pm–8:00pm on Sundays. Closed Monday and Tuesday. The Sefton Park bar is open seven days a week for residents and non-residents.

Sefton Park Hotel also boasts a stunning outside terrace perfect for alfresco drinks and dining. With seating for 100 guests, beautiful seasonal planting, all weather umbrellas and exquisite views over Sefton Park it is a stunning spot to relax and unwind.

The menu features a selection of well-loved dishes, including traditional fish and chips and premium beef burgers, alongside more refined options such as pan-fried seabass and chicken supreme. Guests can also enjoy a traditional vintage afternoon tea, as well as the hotel’s hugely popular home-cooked Sunday roasts with all the trimmings.
