Pensioner hospitalised in Walton hit and run

A pensioner was taken to hospital following a hit and run in Walton.

Police were called to Westminster Road at the junction with Bradewell Street at around 4.55pm on Monday (May 11) after the man was hit by a silver car.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, suffered facial injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital before later being discharged. The driver did not stop at the scene.
