Liverpool is on course for its hottest day of 2016 with temperatures set to soar.
The city will see sunshine and figures of up to 30 degrees Celsius on Tuesday as residents will look to take advantage of the warm weather in the area’s local beaches and parks.
But the Met Office have warned that thunderstorms may follow the sunshine with a yellow weather warning issued from 5pm that will extend until 6pm on Wednesday.
