A former aide of Prince Andrew slated Liverpool in an email to Jeffrey Epstein.
David Stern was a senior assistant to the disgraced former Duke of York when he sent the message to the late sex trafficker and rapist in 2010.
Epstein’s private jet had been diverted to the city’s John Lennon Airport on September 27 due to fog when exchanging messages with Andrew’s staffer.
Documents released by the financier’s estate to the US Department of Justice this week revealed when Stern made the disparaging remark about the city.
In his opening email he said: “I hear you arrived? When can we meet?” but Epstein responded: “Fog, currently in luverpol [sic]”.
Stern then replied: “Do NOT get out at Liverpool: P is horrendous!!!!!!”
The reference to ‘P’ has been repeatedly used in all the released Epstein files to date as a shorthand reference for women and having sex with women.
Stern also served as a director of the Pitch@Palace initiative which the former prince ran before he was stripped of his royal titles by the King last year.
Epstein also emailed Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who opened a cancer unit at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, while grounded in Liverpool.
