A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Anfield.
Police were called to Breck Road at around 11pm on Monday (December 22) after reports that another man in his 50s had sustained a stab wound to his arm.
Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
Detectives have now named Mason Breen as the suspect behind the incident.
The 20-year-old from Tuebrook is charged with section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife/blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He was remanded to appear at Liverpool Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (December 24).
