A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Woolton.
Emergency services were called to Woolton Street at around 9.55am on Friday after the incident involving a double decker on Arriva’s 75 route.
Police formed a large cordon on Acrefield Road from Woolton Street to Rose Brow while the bus provider confirmed that one of their vehicles was involved.
A spokesperson said: “At around 9.50 am on Friday, July 4, an Arriva bus on the 75 service was involved in an incident with a pedestrian in Woolton Village.
“Emergency services attended and an investigation is ongoing.”
