Jurgen Klopp’s agent has dismissed speculation linking him with the German national team.
The Liverpool manager’s homeland were eliminated from the World Cup’s group stage for a second consecutive tournament on Thursday evening.
Japan’s shock 2-1 win over Spain ensured they topped Group E and saw Die Mannschaft leaving Qatar early despite their 4-2 victory over Costa Rica.
The four-time world champions’ unexpected departure has led to doubts over Hansi Flick’s future as head coach and Klopp touted as a potential successor.
But representative Marc Kosicke insists the 55-year-old remains fully committed to his current deal at Anfield, which was extended by four years in April.
“This is a media topic,” he told Sky Germany.
“Jurgen has a contract until 2026 and he intends to fulfil it.”
Klopp refuted theories that he might leave Liverpool next summer after previously ending seven-year spells at Borussia Dortmund and Mainz.
“I can understand that [because] I left after seven years and now we are in a difficult situation, people think that,” the Reds boss said in October.
“But the situation is completely different.
“Being seven years here is intense, no doubt about that. I got older, everybody got older and that’s time. It’s nice as well.
“I got so many things back which gives you a boost.”
