Liverpool have extended their shirt sponsorship with Standard Chartered.
The global banking firm’s existing deal was due to expire at the end of the forthcoming 2022/23 campaign but is now set to run until summer 2027.
Discussions had taken place with a cross-section of potential new sponsors over recent months before the new agreement was announced on Thursday.
Standard Chartered are understood to have increased their valuation of their name adorning the Reds’ shirts with a new package worth over £200 million.
That figure represents a £10M mark-up on the previous arrangement and is worth around £50M per season for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup holders.
“This is a hugely significant partnership for LFC and I could not be prouder to confirm a four-year extension to our already long and successful partnership with Standard Chartered,” said Liverpool’s chief executive Billy Hogan.
“We have been on an incredible journey together and Standard Chartered’s support has been a key driver in our most recent successes, both on and off the pitch, with their loyalty and commitment to Liverpool Football Club.
“Our partnership has been able to thrive because of our shared values and we look forward to continuing to work together to help and support our communities and supporters around the world.”
