Police are investigating a potential arson attack, after a car was discovered on fire in Bootle.
The incident involving the vehicle, a BMW car, in Gray Street was dealt with by Merseyside Fire and Rescue, who subsequently contacted Police at around 8.40pm on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said that both services were conducting investigations into the incident, with forensic officers examining the car.
Gray Street is located next Bootle’s Poet’s Park, connecting Peel Road and Knowsley Road.
