Liverpool have revealed a European-inspired third kit for the 2012/22 season.
Nike’s all-yellow strip bears similarities to the attire first worn by the Reds during the late 1970s and became a staple of the club’s away colour palette.
A red and yellow trip on the collar also bears a chequered flag pattern in a nod to the flags which became synonymous with Anfield’s European nights.
The 96 emblem and eternal flames will again sit on the nape of the neck to commemorate those who were unlawfully killed in the Hillsborough disaster.
From next season, the number will be amended to recognise Andrew Devine, whose recent passing saw him recorded as the 97th victim of the tragedy.

Just like this season’s home and away shirts, the third shirt has been constructed with recycled polyester fabric, made from recycled plastic bottles.
The new third kit is available for pre-order online from Liverpool’s official website and will go on general sale from Tuesday, September 21.
