A famous St John’s Market trader has died as a result of Covid-19, just weeks after his wife also passed away.
73-year-old Ken Keyani ran his “Power Pack” store at the market for over 40 years and was much loved by traders and customers.
Ken lost his fight against Coronavirus just weeks after his wife also past away after contracting the virus.
A statement on the St John’s Market page says “Kenny was one of life’s “gentle”-men and a long-standing market trader with true genes of a market man! I found him personally an inspiration, and his old fashioned values of service, honesty and transparency with regard to his customers was legendary. His customer service was exemplary”
The market manager has provided a space outside his stall where anybody who wants to remember Ken can do so. Members of the market have placed flowers in remembrance of the long-standing stall holder.
