Merseyside Police have confirmed they were called to Bidston Hill, at the entrace of Vyner Road North, on Wednesday afternoon to reports of a dead body.
It is believed the body was found by a dog walker. The male was discovered close to the junction of Boundary Road and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called to the incident at around 3.10pm today. It is understood that the cause of death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the male and contact his next of kin to inform them.
