Travel operator, Merseyrail, has issued a warning to users ahead of the second storm to hit the city this week.
Storm Dennis is due to arrive on Saturday bringing very high winds and torrential rain with it.
Due to the expected poor weather conditions forecast, an amended timetable will operate on the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February with some extended journey times.

Zoe Hands, Operations Director at Merseyrail, said: “We apologise to any customers whose travel plans may be affected by Storm Dennis. We are working to ensure the network is as safe for travel as possible.
“I would urge all passengers to leave plenty of time for their journey and to check our website for the latest information before they travel.”
