Tributes have flooded in for Derek Acorah, who has died at the age of 69.
The Liverpool-born psychic and medium passed away in Southport General Hospital on Saturday morning following a short illness, his wife confirmed.
Acorah became best known for heading up a team of paranormal experts on Living TV’s Most Haunted, which investigated a number of haunted locations.
He also made a cameo appearance in a 2006 episode of Doctor Who and finished in fourth plcae during the 2017 edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
Prior to finding fame, the Bootle native had enjoyed a brief spell on the books of Liverpool FC in the 1960s when Bill Shankly was in charge of the club.
