British Astronaut, Tim Peake, has taken a shot of Liverpool from the International Space Station.
Peake shared a post on twitter showing Liverpool in all of it’s glory. The stunning image takes in the whole of Liverpool as well as the Wirral Peninsular.

The photo has been retweeted over 2,000 times since it was posted three hours ago.
Peake pointed out the spring weather being particularly favourable on Liverpool on a Saturday afternoon.
Tim is currently living and working on the International Space Station after heading to space on December 15, 2015. He is currently undergoing intense training that will see him run a marathon in space.
