Local visitors to the International Slavery Museum have been praised for their reaction to a man receiving racial abuse in a secret online video.
The incident was completely staged by YouTube channel Trollstation, as they wanted to set up a scenario to gauge people’s reactions to witnessing racial abuse.
In the video, two actors, a white male and a black male are filmed having a ‘dispute’ in which the white male makes a number of racist and unsavoury comments about slavery.
Onlookers at the museum were quick to express their disgust at the man’s behaviour, asking him to “keep his opinions to himself” and labelling him as a “bigot”.
The video has received over 60,000 views on Youtube, with countless comments praising the actions of locals for their racially tolerant attitudes.
