A man is being treated in hospital after being hit by a train on the Wirral.
The incident took place between Hoylake and Manor Road stations at around 2pm this afternoon.
British Transport Police officers were called to the incident, and closed services on both the Wirral and West Kirby lines until around 3.15pm, sick following the accident at Melrose Avenue.
A spokeswoman for the BTP confirmed that the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
