A man has been charged with a string of Boxing Day assaults on several women.
The incidents took place in the areas of Sefton Park Road and Brompton Avenue between 6.30am and 7am on December 26.
Officers were originally following reports that a woman had been sexually assaulted and a second woman was physically assaulted by a man on Sefton Park Road.
A third woman reported she had been sexually assaulted around 20 minutes earlier in Brompton Avenue.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that they have since charged Nuradine Jafar with attempted rape, try sexual assault and assault in connection with the offences.
The 25-year-old from Toxteth has been remanded in custody and will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court on December 28.
