A Liverpool man wanted for numerous offences has been arrested by police.
Officers swooped on an address in Knotty Ash on Friday where the 23-year-old from Toxteth was detained on suspicion of a kidnapping in July this year.
The man was also wanted by Greater Manchester Police for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and the theft of shotguns and rifles from a license holder.
He was taken to a local police station where he underwent interviews by detectives from both the Merseyside and Manchester forces.
Police also arrested a 25-year-old woman from Knotty Ash at the scene for harbouring an offender.
The man has since been bailed to allow for further investigations to be carried out while the woman was released pending a disposal decision.
