Liverpool FC set for Luis Suarez reunion

Liverpool will be reunited with Luis Suarez this week after Jurgen Klopp took his squad on a team bonding exercise in Barcelona.

Klopp took the decision in the wake of the 4-3 defeat to Bournemouth which saw the Premier League’s third-placed side surrender successive two-goal leads.

The Reds’ travelling party made an immediate flight from the South Coast to Barcelona following their reversal at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Ahead of next weekend’s visit of West Ham, Klopp is keen for his player to benefit from training in a warmer climate than the winter temperatures on Merseyside.

As part of the preparations, Liverpool’s players will enjoy a post-match rest day before preparing for the clash with the Hammers by training in Barcelona on Tuesday.

That will be followed by a visit to the Nou Camp to see former team mate Suarez in action for Barcelona in their Champions League dead rubber with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Liverpool will return home on Wednesday to step up their preparations for Sunday’s match.
