Little Mix have been confirmed as the latest act to headline Wirral Live.
The four-piece girl band will kick off their first UK show of 2017 as the latest act to perform at the event taking place at Prenton Park over three nights between May 19 and 21.
Also appearing at Tranmere Rovers’ stadium will be Madness after the iconic 1980s hit makers were confirmed to appear last month.
This year’s event follows on from the success of 2016’s Wirral Rocks, which saw Status Quo and Will Young both perform at the two-day event.
Tranmere vice-chairman Nicola Palios said “We are really excited to have Prenton Park host such a globally recognisable name as Little Mix for Wirral Live.
“Wirral Live is a great opportunity for the club, Wirral tourism and local businesses, as well giving the Wirral a flagship music venue capable of attracting some of the World’s biggest acts”.
Tickets for Little Mix will go on general sale from 10am on January 13 and are available from www.seetickets.com. Further acts are set to be announced soon.
