Everton are planning to finalise deals for Ashley Williams and Lamine Kone.
An initial £10 million bid for the Swansea City captain was turned down last week but the Blues are now planning to return with an improved offer.
And a deal for Williams could be finalised in the next 24 hours after John Stones’ protracted move to Manchester City was confirmed earlier today.
Stones joined Pep Guardiola’s side for a £47.5 million deal, making him the second most expensive defender in transfer history.
Ronald Koeman has also turned his attention to securing the services of Kone, with the Sunderland centre-back currently on Merseyside ahead of a proposed £18 million move.
Former Everton boss David Moyes is keen to draft in reinforcements before allowing the Ivory Coast international to move to Goodison Park.
