Liverpool FC misfit Mario Balotelli wants to join Besiktas

Besiktas’ president has claimed that Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is keen on joining the club.

Anfield officials continue to seek potential suitors for the Italian after he was deemed surplus to requirement by Jurgen Klopp.

Balotelli had hoped to secure a money-spinning move to the Chinese Super League but was unable to attract offers before their transfer window closed.

However Besiktas have emerged as the latest contenders to the 25-year-old’s signature according to the Turkish club’s chief Fikret Orman.

“Mario Balotelli is the type of footballer that our fans can associate with,” he told Fanatik.

“I’m pretty sure he would attract great attention. If he wasn’t deemed as a trouble-maker, he wouldn’t be rumoured to be joining us.

“But we can show some effort and create solutions for Balotelli’s infamous troubles.

“I think he can change with the attention and care he’ll receive in Turkey. In short, we want Mario Balotelli and he wants us too.”
