Liverpool are eyeing a move for Inter Milan midfielder Gary Medel.
Medel is no stranger to the Reds after facing them with Cardiff City in the 2013-14 season but could be now set for a Premier League return.
The Chile international has attracted the interest of Jurgen Klopp as a possible successor to Lucas Leiva in defensive midfield, according to reports in Italy.
Tuttosport claim that Medel is being targeted by Liverpool after he was made available by Inter last week.
Klopp is said to have been impressed by the 28-year-old’s performances during Chile’s successful retention of their Copa America crown this summer.
