Everton FC target Europa League winner to replace Romelu Lukaku

Fernando Llorente has emerged as a potential successor to Romelu Lukaku at Everton.

Lukaku’s future with the Blues remains no clearer despite agent Mino Raiola hinting last month at a potential U-turn in his decision to leave Goodison Park.

The Belgian will return to training following Euro 2016 with one eye still on securing a move to a club playing in the Champions League.

And Everton are reportedly preparing for life with, or without Lukaku by stepping up their their interest in Sevilla striker Llorente.

ESPN FC claim that Ronald Koeman is mulling over a move for the former Spain international, who only joined the Europa League winners last summer.

Sevilla are said to be listening to offers for Llorente, with Real Sociedad preparing to offer a return to familiar terrain for the one-time Athletic Bilbao man.

Koeman’s interest in the 31-year-old comes in a week where he saw former Southampton ally Graziano Pelle secure a move to China while Arkadiusz Milik committed his future to Ajax.
