Benfica’s Anderson Talisca could be set to move to snub Liverpool FC in favour of a move to Wolves according to a report from Sport Witness.
The reason for the snub is said to be in relation to the player needing a work permit in order to play in Europe, purchase despite playing for Benfica since 2014.
Representatives for Talisca expected Liverpool to be interested in the player however they worry that new rules mean that because has has not been capped for Brazil, advice it is unlikely that a work permit would be granted.
One of the workarounds that Talisca’s representatives believe could work is if instead of moving to the Premier League, Talisca instead joined the Championship with Wolves being one of the sides interested in securing his services.
The club could be set to get a massive transfer budget if a billionaire takeover is completed and Talisca’s representatives believe that paperwork will be a lot simpler for a Championship team.
However some reports have suggested that this shows a misunderstanding of work permit rules and that moving to Wolves rather than Liverpool wouldn’t be easier.
