Jurgen Klopp appears to be keen on bolstering his midfield as he finalises his fourth signing at Liverpool.
Reports today on Irpina News state that Liverpool FC are close to signing 19-year-old Samuel Bastien from Anderlecht.
The youngster has garnered attention from across Europe however reports today state that he will end up at Liverpool as the club have already agreed a deal in principle worth around 5 Million Euros.
The report says that Bastien will then be loaned out to gain more experience next season – similar to Jurgen Klopp’s first signing of Marko Grujic.
Samuel Bastien is a versatile midfielder who played out on loan last season for Serie B side Avellino.
He operates well as a central midfielder but can also perform as an attacking midfielder.
The teenager featured in 31 games last season, providing two goals and an assist for the Italian side.
